Terms of Use

Last updated: April 2026

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By accessing and using RoteAI, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Nature of the Service and Artificial Intelligence

RoteAI is an AI-based travel planning tool. While we strive to provide accurate information, itineraries, distances, travel times, prices and opening hours are estimates produced by algorithms and may contain errors or outdated information.

3. Driver Responsibility (Motorhomes)

RoteAI provides route and overnight stay suggestions. However, the driver of the vehicle is solely responsible for:

  • Checking that the route is suitable for your motorhome’s dimensions and weight.
  • Complying with all local traffic laws, including low-emission zones (LEZ/CAZ) and circulation restrictions.
  • Confirming the legality of overnight stays (wild camping) with local authorities, as regulations change frequently.

RoteAI is not liable for fines, damage, accidents or inability to access roads and campsites.

4. Affiliate Links and Bookings

RoteAI participates in affiliate programmes (for example Viator, GetYourGuide, among others). This means we may receive a commission if you click a link and make a booking, at no extra cost to you.

All bookings for tours, campsites or hotels are handled by third-party platforms. RoteAI does not process payments and is not responsible for cancellations, refunds or the quality of services provided by third parties.

5. Premium Subscription and Fair Use

The RoteAI Premium subscription includes unlimited itinerary generation for personal trip-planning purposes. We reserve the right to limit or suspend accounts with usage patterns incompatible with this purpose, including automation, account sharing, scraping, or volumes manifestly exceeding reasonable human use.

To prevent abuse, technical limits may apply (e.g. a maximum of 10 itinerary generations per 15 minutes and 50 generations per 24 hours per user). These limits do not affect normal use and may be adjusted over time without prior notice.

6. Right of Withdrawal (European Union)

Under European Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, you have the right to cancel the Premium subscription and receive a full refund within the first 14 days of initial purchase, without stating reasons. To exercise this right, contact us at support@roteai.app with your account email.

Exception (Article 16(m) of the Directive): if during the 14-day period you actively use the service and generate 3 or more complete itineraries, we consider the digital content consumed and the right of withdrawal expires. AI-generated personalised content is, by its nature, digital service delivered on request.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall RoteAI, its directors, employees or partners be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use our service.
